There are three things that I can’t go without for Fashion Week: an everything bag, a portable charger, and something that makes me look photo-ready. The Ana mini Luar bag is my top pick. It fits everything and fits everything I need: phone, power bank, protein bar, lip gloss, headphones, keys and wallet. I don’t like carrying around a big bag or carrying a computer; it’s too much, and it always spoils the look. What I also like about Ana is that it initiates the conversation. Everyone has it and you are twinned with someone who has it or they want to know if they should take it. (The answer is yes.) In terms of beauty, I love Glossier’s Futuredew, especially in winter. A little pump before leaving the home or office, and you look cute and dewy instead of withered. It’s about finding life! However, if we’re being really honest, what I can’t live without is the Google Docs app on my phone—those program reviews won’t write themselves.

Shoes are something I love to splurge on, and my Staud Wally boots have been a regular in my wardrobe since last fall. I hate heels, but Wallys has the perfect 2-inch cat heel, making for an incredibly comfortable boot for walking (and running) around the city! The shoes are so good, I even got a pair for my mom. Speaking of running around, when I’m really hungry, I’ll reach for a Gomacro stick. They are the best tasting protein bars in my opinion and I will always keep one in my pocket. I bought a pair of The Row pleated pants as a gift for myself when I took the job at Vogue. They’re a great pair of work pants: harmless and comfortable enough for weekly use, but they make any shirt look more stylish. During Fashion Week, I definitely have a late morning or my curated outfit breaks down and I reach for these pants.

In NYFW, I trust these Saint Laurent sunglasses—because all the concealers in the world couldn’t hide my puffiness during Fashion Week. I’m a (relatively) simple girl, so the items I need to survive Fashion Week definitely reflect that. I’m never short of my Rhode peptide lip treatment and rely on it during Fashion Week and beyond for smooth, hydrated lips. I’m also aware that my phone is often used for taking pictures of the runway or assigning seats, so a sturdy phone case is essential! These Gucci loafers are more comfortable than most sneakers I own (don’t ask me how!), and I will rely on them heavily to run from show to show. It’s going to be cold this week, so I’m only interested in knitwear. I plan to wear this Zankov checkered cardigan more than once. I don’t like walking around a big bag in NYFW. My little Prada crossbody bag carries everything I need and goes with almost any outfit. Without a doubt, an oversized black blazer is a must-have in the NYFW wardrobe. Worn over the shoulder or layered as a jacket, this piece can’t go out of style during Fashion Week. Rain or shine, I carry a classic pair of lightweight sunglasses for the unpredictable weather of New York City. ‘This is the season of chapped lips, which means I have to stock up on a (or two!) Summer Fridays lip balm in my bag. Don’t forget the Fashion Week parties. I’m usually in a rush to get ready, so I always have a pair of comfortable heels to put on.
