Listen I get you may want him to ask for permission and wait for you to go with him. But you need to realize he is 19. He is able to make decisions for himself and shouldn’t have to have permission from their mother or farther to do something as simple as going out on their own. Imagine you were them and your parents decided to punish you for the same reason? Wouldn’t you find that unfair? If so why would you think he wouldn’t.
